Three years of my life as an EU student of English Literature at the University of East Anglia,England.

UEA’s Nap Room

“Today, the UEA has become the first university in the country
to have its own nap room.”

The nap room has opened yesterday, as part of the Wellbeing Week:  any one can book 40 minutes slots in this really cool looking room.

But the best part is probably that they basically wrote “We’re not a hotel, if you want to sleep more go back home” on the door 😛

Here is a really interesting article in the Telegraph about UEA’s nap room and the importance of taking naps during the day.

I don’t think I would go and sleep where tons of other random people lie down, but at the end of the day it is a good idea which could help a lot of students who spend long days on campus. Have you tried it yet? Do you plan to?

PS: they have CCTV there!
