Sainsbury Centre Tour

Here’s a short video I made about the Sainsbury Centre at UEA and the amazing sculptures on campus!

The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Art opened in 1978 and was designed by Norman Foster in order to host Lisa and Robert Sainsbury’s art collection. The museum contains modern pieces of all kinds as well as older objects from all over the world and different centuries. I can safely say that the Sainsbury Centre is my favourite place at UEA and having it on campus is a wealth! It is such a nice, modern, calming and inspiring place that I visit regularly. There is something for everyone and isn’t your conventional museum. And also, there’s something super cool about having such a place on campus and not every university can say that!

Entry to the museum is free and students pay half-price for the exhibitions in the mezzanine or downstair gallery. If you have never done so, I strongly encourage you to go 🙂 You won’t regret it!
